Our Process

We guide our clients through a simple design and build process that will ensure the successful creation of their dream backyard.

INITIAL IN-HOME CONSULTATION

First we visit your home, talk with you about what you’re looking to achieve, talk about some projected costs, and we listen to what you want to use your outdoor space for. We take some general measurements of your space and some good notes.

LANDSCAPE DESIGN CONTRACT

Secondl, a landscape design contract is written up and reviewed with you. Upon approval we enter into the landscape design contract, and the creative process begins.

During the landscape design process we will value engineer the design to assure the projects stays within your budget.

We are often asked how long the design process will take. The answer is, "It Depends." It depends on the size and complexity of your backyard paradise.

CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT

Once your landscape design is complete we will assemble a construction contract. This contract will be reviewed with you, and any changes necessary will be completed. The construction process does not start until all costs are determined and a budget approved.

You will have the opportunity to assure that theses costs are within industry standards before entering into a construction contract. Our pricing is fair, and our quality is un-matched by our competitors.

Once you feel comfortable and 100% confident that Backyard Dream is the contractor of choice, we will enter into a construction contract, and we will begin building your backyard paradise. The design fee is then credited back to the construction contract amount.

WEEKLY PROJECT UPDATES

Weekly meetings will be scheduled with you to assure that everything is running smoothly on your project, and it's being completed per your perception.

THE FINAL DAY - WRAPPING UP YOUR SPACE

Once all of the final work is completed, the last minute details all wrapped up, we will have a close-out meeting. We will inform you of your product operations, and anything that you might need to know, like how to service or call for any warranty related issues.
